I took a course this last week to learn to write grants. I was surprised by the many complex issues related to Grant Writing.
First, it’s not an easy task. I am not sure what I expected, but I was totally surprised by what is involved in creating a grant and getting it accepted.
Second, there are not many people that write grants and get them accepted. There are so many requirements to meet and so many instructions to follow.
Third, I am totally flabbergasted away by how much money is available by simply asking and asking in the right way. There are millions and millions of dollars just sitting there for the right grant request to come along.
